At AH Group we have a large team who work together on each project enabling us to deliver the full start to finish property service we do. This team ranges from office staff to the tradesmen completing the construction on site.
We believe strongly as a business in building relationships with clients and between our own staff. Getting to know each other and building relationships is important to us as personal bonds and commonalities are much stronger than simply sharing office walls or exchanging emails, which can make all the difference when working together as a team.
Due to these values and beliefs, we like to get out the office and away from the site to enjoy some team building activities when we can. As well as the values, it's also nice just to have some good old fashioned fun with a big group of people!
Last Saturday saw our team building activity lead us to Bassetts Pole for a day of Paintballing! 20 of us were out of bed early on a Saturday and strapping on the overalls and helmets come 9am. We were split into 2 teams, Oranges v Blues, picked our weapons and were sent into the battlefield. The morning saw us compete in 6 different paintballing games in areas such as Bridge Invasion and The Trenches with the Oranges taking an early lead with Director Ali leading the way with aggressive plays, and Charley from the Lettings team providing the covering fire from the bushes that no one would expect to found in...
The Blues fought back late morning thanks to some brave (some might say stupid after seeing her bruises!) plays from Director Hannah and some good coordinated attacking teamwork.
After a light lunch and refuelling which was badly needed in Saturdays heat, the big final battle commenced in the afternoon which saw the Orange team keep a hold of their slender lead and be crowned the overall victors.
A special mention has to go to Pete the joiner who got caught up in the moment during the last game and was presented with an award by the staff at the adventure park for the most reckless and cinema screen worthy plays of the day.
Overall it was a great days entertainment with further bonds built between us as well as certainly giving us something to talk about on Monday morning, as well as some bruises to show off! We are already looking forward to the next AH Group day out!
